This Virtual Tour was produced for the estate agent Goundry Pearce. The property is now `virtually’ open for viewing 24h day, reaching a global audience & massively increasing the likelyhood of a sale. Please take the tour and give us some feedback.

You can freely look around in `any’ direction as well as being able to `walk’ between the rooms using any of the three different forms of navigation. It is always a challenge to photograph a panorama which has such large variations in lighting – we feel that this tour achieves a subtle balance between lights and darks.

Historic Porthleven

April 19th, 2009 1 Comment

Porthleven is a historic and picturesque fishing harbour overlooking Mounts Bay. It has a wonderful harbour & beach, as well as a selection of bars and cafes. It was a really hot day & we actually fell asleep on the beach shortly after taking this panorama … the camera gear was however safely packed away by this point.

About 10 miles of really beautiful walks. Tehidy has a fantastic forest that just begs to be photographed and explored. Kind of reminded us of Heligan Gardens, well worth a look!

This is our first `subtle’ attempt at HDR photography (high dynamic range).  Very basically – HDR is the combination of a series of bracketed photographs (underexposed through to overexposed – dark to light).  These are then combined to produce an image that is evenly exposed, allowing for detail in shadows as well as highlights. Lots more on this later!

This is a view taken from just behind Carbis Bay. The walk leads you around the cliff with stunning views over to St Ives & Gwithian. You can then walk down a crazy rocky path onto the beach – very nice!

A wood in Flushing

March 16th, 2009 1 Comment

We discovered this little wood while we were walking down some random road in Flushing. There was a gap in the hedge and a little path that lead up a hill. The trees looked crazy with the sun streaming through them, so we decided to take a panorama.

Another glorious day, and Falmouth is a wonderful place to enjoy it. Just up the hill is Pendennis Castle.
