The Tate Gallery (St Ives) lies on the site of the old gas works overlooking Porthmeor Beach. The gallery has a beautiful vista stretching out in front of it that can also be appreciated from the cafe on the top floor. This panorama was taken in the entrance to the gallery.

Wonderful detail! It blew up to full size with beautiful clarity though.

Have you ever been to the top of Carn Marth (Lanner, Redruth) – superb panoramic views. There is also an open air theatre there which in itself would probably make an interesting subject.
